When machinery needs shipping abroad, simply call in Ainscough Vanguard. We provide a totally comprehensive export service, from collection at your premises or job site to final delivery.

Our long experience in exporting means you can leave the paperwork to us. We’ll take care of all transit, customs documentation and customs clearance. And with our computerised transit control system, we’re able to keep you fully informed of your consignment’s progress at every stage, as well as arranging insurance, if required.

We also offer equipment cleaning as part of the packing process, with vulnerable or delicate parts suitably protected. And, because shipments undergo changing climatic conditions during the course of their journey, we treat all visible bright metal surfaces, before heat-sealing them in a polythene cocoon with moisture-absorbing silica gel.

Finally, there is the external casing, constructed to meet BS 1133 and HPE. This is specially made, often to a unique design, for each shipment, to ensure that the machinery is properly protected at all times. And this can either be provided at our specialist packing locations or on site, if that is more convenient.

In addition, we can take care of warehousing needs too, providing long-term storage of machinery awaiting export or sale. Ainscough Vanguard has a nationwide network of warehouses, strategically situated around the country, all equipped with overhead or mobile cranes, forklift trucks and a complete range of handling equipment.

We can even offer a consolidation service for machinery awaiting distribution to clients or installation in the near future. On top of that, we’re always very happy for your authorised representatives to inspect any of your goods being stored, at a mutually convenient time.
